Windows browser support
This issue is about the question if we support a built-in Microsoft browser. I think currently we don't.
Today I learnt that Microsoft Edge does not support Java plugins (https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/win10_faq.xml).
So I tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 with Java 8 installed. It asked me if I want to enable the Java plugin, I agreed. Javascript is enabled by default, and I checked that it really is in the settings.
Opening the DMX webclient gives me the following errors and I get a white screen.
That said, I haven't been in front of a Windows computer for ages and maybe I just got settings wrong. The Windows 10 installation is quite virgin though, I never ran any Java application on it before and I never used those built-in browsers.
Maybe those of you who also have Windows could test? @irab @irau @bwe Edit: Firefox and Chrome both work. But can we deliver something that does not run on one of MS' two browsers?
